Review: Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended for European Travelers I stayed at this hotel recently and, unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations—especially for a property that claims to be four stars. My first room was full of issues: the front door didn’t lock, the wardrobe doors didn't open fully so you couldn't access the drawers, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the only view from the window was a brick wall. I requested a room change, and while the second room was an improvement, it still had its problems. The air conditioning either blasted cold air constantly or didn’t work at all—there was no functioning temperature control. I also used the hotel laundry service, which advertised an 8-hour turnaround. More than 24 hours later, my laundry still hadn’t arrived. When I went to reception with the laundry form, the staff member didn’t speak much English and directed me to a nearby laundry shop, which turned out to be unrelated to the hotel. After some back-and-forth and assistance in Arabic, I finally got some help—but even then, the staff seemed unsure of how the laundry process worked. As for amenities, I would not recommend the breakfast. It was very basic and not what you'd expect from a four-star hotel. If you enjoy good coffee, bring your own—the coffee provided was disappointing. Another issue for international travelers: the hotel’s name appears only in Arabic, making it difficult to find on Google Maps or when trying to direct a taxi back to the property. This made getting around more frustrating than it needed to be. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for European travelers. It may have four stars on paper, but in practice, the service and facilities don’t live up to the rating.
