AL22 di Piazza del Gesù

Piazza del Gesù, 22 is a very comfortable place to stay in the center of historic Viterbo, Italy! Benso, the owner / manager generously picked me up at the Porta Romana train station and drove me to the hotel; he also kindly carried my luggage up to the second floor [no lift], and showed me all the amenities. I stayed in the Tranquila Room, which apparently is the largest room. Right off of a lovely piazza, with several restaurants, meals are served al fresco. However, at night, my room was dead quiet, so sleeping was excellent after a long day of walking tours. Benso also helped me back to the train station, and his hospitality was key to my stay being a great experience -- thank you!!!

Comfortable and welcoming room, cleaned daily. An added value is the presence of a small common area, equipped with a kitchen. Maximum availability of the owner, who also allowed us to leave our luggage at the property after the check out time. Excellent location, in a quiet square, but very close to the center and easily reachable on foot from Porta Romana station.

Excellent organization: you access the structure with codes (which the owner sends in advance, together with car parking suggestions) both in the door and in the rooms at least for the first time, then you have a set of keys to open the doors. Despite being central, there were no noise problems and the room's window overlooked the square. The structure is spotless, with every comfort, the owner was available immediately. As soon as you enter the accommodation there is the possibility of making a coffee in a small kitchen, some Viterbo brochures and the covid safety regulations. In the room there is a small table on which there is other useful information about Viterbo, places where you can eat and visit. Clean bathroom and sheets, very comfortable mattress. There is the possibility of changing pillows if necessary, a television in the room and a small minibar in which there are two fresh bottles of water (a much appreciated detail, especially in summer). In the bathroom you will find: body and face towels and bidet; toilet paper, bars of soap, hair cap, shower gel/shampoo and finally hairdryer. The owner was very kind and helpful in making us feel comfortable and giving us suggestions. A place I would happily return to.
