Such a unique cave hotel experience. It has been an excellent stay here in Aladino Cave Suite, the whole family enjoyed it. Special thank you to Adam, our most friendly hotel manager for taking care of us like a family, for his warmth and kindness. Wish you all the best in life and hope soon you’ll be reunited with your Indonesian wife again in Turkey. Will definitely recommend my fellow travellers to stay in Aladino Cave Suite when visiting Capadoccia. All the best … !!!!

This is a special man-made design hotel, giving guests special experiences staying in a cave. However, since it’s is design & built, they should pay more attention on human touch, shower room should have a proper place to put your shower essentials , staircase can be more gentle, etc. we are at basement 3, and the hot water took a long while to reach below. overall a 4 star for the room design concept, but 3 stars for the room conditions. Basement are pretty moist and have a kind of smell. It has a upper deck breakfast dining area, so breakfast with a view of the hot air balloon from far. Breakfast is standard Turkish breakfast and a decently good spread of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, cake & bread, coffee and Turkish tea. Staff not that friendly, but usually helpful with a stern face. They don’t speak English and pretty hard to communicate. Location is pretty far from the city centre, about 20km by car, and taxi will cos 500 lira one way. (You need to self-drive it with a tour group to stay here). On the whole, is a good experience.

our stay at the Aladino Cave Hotel was nothing short of a disappointment. Attracted by beautiful pictures of cave suites on the hotel's website, we, a group of 9, were enthusiastic about our upcoming stay. however, the reality was a far cry from what we had envisaged. Upon entering, we were shocked to find a hotel enveloped in dust, with dead insects not only in the rooms but also in the kitchen area. the cave suites we had booked, were carved but neglected, without any proper ventilation. A stifling level of humidity pervaded the suites, turning towels, bedding, and walls into persistently damp surfaces. the air quality was alarming, posing what we believe were genuine health concerns. there was no central heating system in place, and heating was haphazardly achieved through electric heaters perched on tables - an approach that was both unsafe and inefficient. The second the heaters were turned off, an icy chill would fill the room. The promised warm water was sporadic and fleeting, leaving the jacuzzis essentially useless. This led us to downgrade to the standard rooms, which, while not free from their own set of issues, at least did not expose our electronic devices and ourselves to damaging moisture. These smaller rooms had their own challenges. there was a persistent lack of warm water, and a repugnant smell permeated the spaces. This odour was not confined to the bathrooms - we believe the rugs in the bedrooms were also a source. Despite our repeated complaints, the staff did not address this issue. The kitchen staff were generally polite, but their habit of smoking during breakfast preparation was unacceptable. Furthermore, breakfast was frequently served late. Many of the hotel's utilities were broken - including the poorly designed showers which led to a flooded bathroom more than once. Our initial impression of the manager, Adem, was positive, but his lack of engagement and constant excuses quickly changed our perception. The indifferent attitude, however, seems to be a reflection of the owner, Özgür. the only bright spot amidst this ordeal was the ever-smiling cook, ilyas, who consistently checked on our satisfaction. But this was far from enough to make up for the numerous deficiencies of the hotel. Not only were we not given a fair price for the compromised amenities and downgrades, but our last night was also disrupted by a late-night party held by the owner and staff, with noise persisting till 2 in the morning.
