I celebrated my birthday at Alaia this past weekend & I must say I had a grand experience! From the room service to the food (especially the short ribs & oxtail ravioli from sea salt) was definitely top tier! I love how they catered to my birthday with a complimentary cake waiting for me in the fridge after check in. We stayed in the reef house 2 bedroom suite with a beautiful pool view & steps from the beach which is actually barricaded off. However, the beach views are still amazing. I took advantage of all three pools (main, reef house, & rooftop). Overall, I’m grateful for the experience!
Luxurious rooms, amazing pool and beach areas, lovely staff that will go above and beyond for you, beautiful views... this is truly a fantastic resort. There are enough restaurants, lounge areas, and activities to keep you entertained. The chicken wings at the rooftop pool are some of the best I've ever had. Even the other guests staying here had a great vibe! Very relaxed and friendly resort with a glamorous feel. We LOVED it. Highly recommend the beachfront villa for families.
Definitely a 4 star resort. From all the autographs this was my least favourite. Everyone looks easy on the eyes but Sunday seems like “ off day “ in the entire island. There was dogs and cats roaming which I hate. The room was fine doesn’t match the price in my opinion. The sliding door only covers the toilet area but if you’re staying with a friend the door doesn’t slide over to cover the shower so it’s is exposed into the entire room. Staff is very friendly and great. Definitely nicest hotel on the island BUT not the nicest Autograph I’ve stayed at. Also the decaying seaweed smell is EVERYWHERE. You can’t avoid it.
