Alannia Salou Resort

Very good experience with Alannia Salou,a lots of activities for kids, the buffet food was great, every day different types of food,you can find for sure something for all tastes. Location is in middle of everything,you have all shops around and few beaches nearby. Room was ok for a family with 2 kids, have a hairdryer which is perfect,a coffee machines if you enjoy drinking coffee early morning and clean towels every 2 days.

Overall we had a good experience here with our 2 kids. Service and staff were really friendly and animation and entertainment was good specially for kids. Food had enough variety every day and quality was quite decent. Swimming pool: fun slides but forget about getting a sun bed after 10am, seriously this needs to be addressed as people put towels and disappear for the day. Negative points: Rooms were very small for a family of 4, no wardrobe space and the fact that everything is in the same room including the bathroom it gives you very little space to move around. The noise from top floor to bottom floor is tremendous as you can hear them walking, this needs to be addressed, affected us during the night

Our stay was quite enjoyable. Salou is a beautiful city. We found the staff to be nice, some nicer than others. Some guests were a bit aggressive, 1 particular incident where a man shouted and pointed his finger aggressively at a staff member while we were eating breakfast..😳 The breakfast buffet is basic, and in terms of food quality, not the highest. 3/5 is a generous rating. The resort itself is modern, well laid out and looks beautiful at night time. As a couple, we did at times feel out of place, as this resort is designed primarily for families and children. We think an adult only pool area would have been a great addition. The adult ‘wellness’ area is only open until 3pm, so we could not use the jacuzzi facility in the evening when we would have preferred to. Drinks and snacks reasonably priced. €35 euro to rent a bed/canopy by the pool is a bit excessive. We had no problems with the layout of the bedroom, shower area wasn’t an issue! Everything was clean and had a purpose. We will definitely be returning to Salou, perhaps not Alannia itself, but we can see why it appeals to families with children! ❤️
