We are correcting our previous review and gladly changing the rating to a full 5 stars, thanks to the wonderful experience we had during the last days of our stay at Alarcha Hotel. Special thanks to Ayman, the animator, who made a beautiful gesture by wishing my mother a happy birthday before the evening show – without hesitation. That moment meant a lot to us and showed genuine care from the animation team. In the final days, everything was simply excellent – from the hotel itself, the pools, and the beach, to the delicious food and the warm, professional staff. Thank you, Alarcha team, for making the end of our vacation truly memorable. We’re grateful and hope to come back again!
I would like to share my full experience at this hotel. My intention is not to harm the reputation of the property but rather to provide constructive feedback, because the hotel is indeed very special and has great potential, yet it requires serious improvements in several areas. 1 – Booking Issue: When booking online, it was very clear that children are considered “children” up to 17 years old, according to international booking systems (especially in Germany and many other countries). The children’s ages were entered during the reservation, and the booking was officially confirmed by the hotel. However, upon arrival, the hotel suddenly decided that a 13-year-old is not considered a child. This is not my responsibility, since the hotel itself confirmed the booking with the information provided. Regarding the 19-year-old case, this is completely incorrect. The booking clearly included a room for three adults, and the hotel later admitted and apologized for this mistake. The only dispute was regarding the 13-year-old child. In addition, we faced another unnecessary issue upon check-in regarding the voucher. The hotel insisted it was invalid, despite our agency confirming that the code was correct. After three hours, the hotel finally admitted it was valid. This gave the impression that the hotel was deliberately creating problems without reason. Afterwards came the age dispute, and we were forced to pay an extra €600. Only after strong objections and mentioning legal action were we partially refunded €150, while being told to claim the remaining amount from the agency. We believe this was nothing but a trick, and everything is fully documented. One of my family members posted a detailed review about this on Google, but unfortunately the hotel’s response was unprofessional, stating they had “the right to sue.” We welcome that, as everything is documented and we are confident about who is right. 2 – Location & Rooms: • The location of the hotel is excellent. • The rooms are generally clean, but some are located underground near the waste disposal area, causing unpleasant smells. • In one room, the shower did not work. • We were also given a room designed for disabled guests despite booking a standard room. All of these issues are documented with photos and videos. 3 – Food: • As many other guests have mentioned, the food is not fresh and is often reused the next day with minor changes in presentation or flavor. • Very few dishes are available, and rice is served daily. • Desserts look nice but have no taste, and they are the same every day. • Some fruits were old or unappealing (such as bananas). • Overall, the buffet is very poor. • The only positive aspect regarding food is the drinks, which were excellent and varied. 4 – Service: • Most staff do not speak English, and when you try, they answer in Turkish instead. • The service quality overall is weak and requires serious improvement. 5 – Facilities: • The swimming pools are clean and very nice. • The sea is beautiful and clean, but it is full of stones and has no sand at all, which makes it uncomfortable to swim. Conclusion: This hotel urgently needs restructuring in several areas: • Proper staff training and improved service quality. • Better food quality and a wider variety of dishes. • Addressing room maintenance and facility issues. I want to stress again that my review is not meant to damage the hotel’s reputation. On the contrary, I believe this hotel has great potential because of its excellent location and beautiful setting. However, the current problems seriously harm its image. I sincerely hope that hotel management takes my feedback into consideration, responds with transparency and facts, and does not deny or misrepresent the situation. Everything I mentioned is well documented.
Disappointing and dishonest experience. Avoid this hotel! I am writing this review to warn everyone against staying at this hotel. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly rude and unhelpful from the moment we arrived. Their lack of professionalism was shocking. The worst part, however, was their complete dishonesty. Several of my friends who were also staying there were victims of their fraudulent practices. The hotel lacked transparency, and they refused to issue proper invoices for our stay, which is completely unacceptable and frankly, illegal. It's clear that this establishment operates without integrity. Their actions are deceitful, and they are not to be trusted. Save yourself the trouble and the potential to be scammed, and choose another hotel.
