Albani Hotel Roma

A pleasant stay at this hotel. As for the rooms – the air conditioning was barely noticeable, and the rooms really need renovation. In the bathroom, there was mold on the walls and around the windows. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had an incredibly upsetting experience with this hotel. Due to an escalating conflict in our home country, our flights were canceled by the airline, and we were physically unable to arrive on the original dates. We informed the hotel in advance, explaining everything clearly and even sent them all necessary documentation — including the official cancellation notice and our rebooked tickets for later dates. We kindly asked to shift our reservation accordingly. Unfortunately, the hotel showed no willingness to help at all. They refused to reschedule, offered no refund, and responded with cold formality, completely ignoring the seriousness of the situation. Given our background and the complete lack of flexibility or empathy, it’s hard not to suspect there may be discriminatory bias involved — particularly of an antisemitic nature. It’s extremely disheartening to encounter such indifference in the hospitality industry. I do not recommend this hotel, especially for guests looking for understanding, fairness, or even basic human compassion

Absolutely Horrible – Avoid at All Costs! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The experience was downright awful from start to finish. The bathroom smelled absolutely disgusting – like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The staff? Rude, unprofessional, and clearly out to scam guests. They lied and said the hotel was fully booked when it was clearly EMPTY, and still refused to accommodate any requests. This place has nothing to offer. No amenities, no hospitality, just the bare minimum and even that’s a stretch. It’s a complete waste of money. I genuinely regret not staying anywhere else. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this place. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff entered the room while we were sleeping without knocking, they went in our room in our absence & they say they are top rated! Such a scam !!
