Albatross Motor Inn

We have stayed here a number of times on our way up to NSW with our caravan. It is really especially good because there is a big grassy area where we can park our camper van. It is a great small motel, the owner is very nice, the location is very quiet, the rooms are very clean , the shower is hot and the beds are really comfortable and it is not very expensive! What more can you ask? I highly recommend The Albatross Motor Inn.

Tried to book 2 nights as a gift to top and tail a sick friend’s camping trip. Owner would not permit me to pay for this gift with my credit card if I wasn’t staying and said it was fraud to do so! What absolute rubbish. I explained my card would cover any extra costs if incurred but he was very rude and condescending. A most unpleasant experience and absolute antitheses of hospitality. Was able to secure much better accommodation for my friend. She stayed her first night last night and rang me in tears she was so thrilled. Would be nice if Albatross manager had shown some empathy, kindness and greater hospitality.

Need to be careful with this place...death in the family meant we couldn't take up the booking going down to Vic for a family event... so it was "postponed" as he wouldn't refund... went to rebook but he's taking his holiday so not possible for eithet our down or return trip.. he suggested we might take it up another time... seniors living more than 4hrs away...?? Not likely... there goes $130!
