Albergo Diffuso Forgaria Monte Prat

We spent a fortnight's holiday in early August: me, my wife and our big dog. Beautiful place, characteristic house, organization to be reviewed. We arrived on August 5th, we found a temperature of 14 degrees, the house COLD. It was enough for the women who supposedly cleaned in the morning to light the fireplace for us to find a more pleasant temperature. The house was not very clean, the fridge was dirty, kept closed and therefore had a musty smell. The management intervened quite quickly but we had the inconvenience. The TV didn't work, due to an old decoder, another inconvenience when you are isolated!!!! Other problems that were immediately solved by the availability of the property, a doctor from Udine, who left Udine and came in no time to solve them. It is important to point out that the organization gave me a discount for the inconvenience but I would have preferred not to have any inconvenience and not take advantage of the discount. The house is beautiful, the location is extremely quiet, the organization needs to be reviewed a lot. It's a place I would return to but first, during the booking, I would clarify everything. This is the advice I give for the rest the place is worth the trip

We stayed two days ago at Casa Manzut, a recently renovated house, surrounded by greenery, ideal for those who want to enjoy days in contact with nature. The only thing that is really disappointing is the lack of attention paid to cleaning the apartment which leaves a bad taste in the mouth at the end of the holiday.

TLDR Nice place, miserable service I was organising a trip around Friuli with friends from Geneva, London, Paris, Milan, Frankfurt, a total of 20 people. I know the place, so I called them directly, 5 times, never an answer. I even left a message in the voice mailbox, nothing. I managed to get an answer by email where I was told that they have to think about it, since we were asking for 1 night and the minimum is 2. They added that the decision making process is very slow, so we should consider other places (suggesting places that got renovated the last time in the 70s). Since we had to organize ourself (people had flights booked) we decided to book 2 nights through Airbnb (at least Airbnb confirms immediately). They rejected the reservation and said we are not welcome anymore..... very professional. At the end we found another place in Sappada, better trekking, better restaurants, better everything!
