Albergo Le Due Corti

Even tho we've taken the economy room, it was overpriced for the standard. For the half of this money one can get the same service on the lake side. Center of Como, yes.. convenient, but this spot looks like a bedroom of homeless people, who are sleeping around the hotel. The biggest of the pros is a service. Very professional, nice and welcoming. All of them! From the front desk to room service and waiting staff. Not a single person seemed to be in a bad mood or gave us a feeling of being tired. And they worked all day long in 36 degrees Celsius!

We stayed here for 4 nights for part of our trip to Lake Como...hotel was in a great location, rooms were comfortable and the staff were first class!!...they make a great Moscow Mule!!

I would say this about a 3.5. I booked last minute because not much available in town. I should have stayed further away and in a better place. This hotel has the old way of client service in Italy where the customer is always wrong. First they tried to stick me in a room with no windows and no air conditioning that was working well and it was 40 degrees outside. That's fine if you don't pay 200 euro a night. This hotel should be 100 euro a night at best. I feel bad for the staff that has to work in these conditions. I think their management has a lot fo work to do. Very nice bed after I made them change me rooms. Breakfast not bad. Location not bad. So I guess I would say that 3 stars. If the price was lower I would say 4. This should not be a 4 star hotel.
