My family and I booked the family parter room, and it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. From the start of the reservation process, all the way to the check out, the staff members in Albi were considerate, quick to respond, and just really good people. I'm overly cautious when planning trips and accommodations, often overthinking and overpreparing. Having said that, this boutique hotel was the only location that fulfilled all the requirements I had for a place to stay for my family: a reasonable price, a comfortable room with large enough beds for 4 people, air conditioning for the summer heat, a clean bathroom, staff that were present in the reception desk in case we needed assistance (checking in, arranging airport taxi, leaving our luggage for a few hours after checking out etc.), located near a grocery store and restaurants, and of course, within reasonable distance from the Old City. Despite fulfilling my long list of requirements, this place managed to go beyond that. From the top of my head: it had a hot tub at the top of the building (which I didn’t use, but looked lovely), the televisions with NetFlix, as well as a rooftop happy hour I was fortunate enough to be in time for (I believe the happy hour was an occasional, experimental event). And just in case there are people like me who were concerned about the finding a reliable transport back to the airport during Shabbat: The taxi driver that took us, from what I recall, had worked with the hotel for a good period of time. He was, from my experience, reliable, professional, and trustworthy. Took us from point A to point B, on time, with the agreed amount explained by the hotel staff beforehand. Whenever I read a review that’s overly positive, the first thought that pops into my mind is that the reviewer has been paid off (it’s probably not the case, but like I said, I overthink). Most reviews I saw were 5 stars with short or no comments. They were not helpful to me whatsoever in making a decision. So, to clarify, I’m not being paid for this. I’m detailing out my experience so that people like me, who over-researches out of anxiety before travelling, can safely be reassured that this is one of the best places to stay in Jerusalem. At least, in my opinion. That and also, out of every hotel I’ve reached out, the staff at Albi were the only people that wrote back to answer my questions before booking. They were very human, if that makes any sense, which I consider a rare thing in a touristic city. So, I wanted people to know how helpful and respectful the staff in Albi were with me. Overall, in case tl;dr: I can confidently state that staying at Albi was one of the BEST decisions I had made for my time in Jerusalem.
We booked the Albi Hotel for a friends treat. We stayed in room 201. The hotel is located in an amazing area. Very close to almost everywhere.the mehane yehuda market is 5 min walk where nightlife is amazing. The old city was like a chilled 20 min walk. The rooms are super stylish and super clean. Amazing facilities..the best bed i ever slept in. The hotel itself is an old jerusalem house that was turned into those super modern suites and rooms. The highlight of the place is its rooftop terrace with amazing views ..we enjoyed relwxing in the hot tub after a day touring enjoying our wine...this is THE place to be in Jerusalem..5 stars
Very Nicely designed rooms ,clean, modern, this hotel has few rooms in a very small building .The Lobby is located in the basement. There is no elevator! and there are a lot of narrow steps ( i counted 52! Steps From reception to our 301 bedroom) .The closest parking is expensive and located about half a km from hotel. The hotel itself has No parking. communication good ,smiles and hearts :) but mainly by whatsapp messages .The hotel is located in a central area but also very close to a main and noisy traffic jammed road . Rooms are noise proof when closed, but the nice small rooftop with jacuzzi was very noisy at all hours. No breakfast on location .
