We quite enjoyed this hotel and room. Everyone was friendly, they are truly pet-friendly, which means they accept all dogs, no matter their size, the breakfast was great. It seemed a bit far away from the city's main attractions but there are buses there so it is not a huge problem. We enjoyed how short stay very much.

We had our family vacation at the Ibis Styles Madrid City Lars Ventas hotel. We were staying with our 2 children, a baby and a 2 year old. The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially the receptionist Ivan, who was extremely helpful, friendly and made our stay so wonderful. The hotel is located 25 min from the centre of Madrid but the bus 53 is accessible right outside the hotel. The room was very nice and accommodating for a family and our children loved to go to the swimmingpool. God value for the money and it is not the last time we are gonna stay at Ibis Styles Madrid City Las Ventas. Thank you for making our vacation a wonderful experience.

Overall, a nice place to stay. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The restaurant is great for dinner and the breakfast extremely good, the restaurant staff provided excellent service as did the staff at check in/check out. Sounds like a 4/5 review right? However...... there are a few things that let this place down and it's a shame when everything else was so good 😞 Firstly, there is next to no shade near the pool and considering we were staying when it was a constant 40 degrees, not good. The pool also opens late in the afternoon and closes early? The only bar open during the day is the pool bar although there is one inside? The worst thing though, and I've never said this is about a hotel, is the male bar staff were extremely racist. I waited to order a single drink while they served the Spanish before the tourists although we had been waiting much longer. My beers were poured with half the glass being foam however when poured for the Spanish they were perfect. As a result, although a majority of the staff were lovely, I wouldn't recommend this place, I felt like a second class citizen.
