Aleksandar Palace

This hotel, which was one of the hotels we stayed in during our tour, does not pretend to clean the rooms, but the beds are not made and the sheets are not changed. The bathroom and toilet are shown as cleaned, but no changes are seen. I was very tired of seeing wavy black hair all over the bathroom. The breakfast was also very poor. The well-built and bearded bar attendant at the bar was quite sullen and grumpy. For this reason, I will never come again and I do not recommend it to anyone who cares about hygiene.

The worst "5 stars" hotel. Rooms old and dirty. It desperately needs a deep cleaning. A huge spider greeted us upon arrival in the room. Staff very rude. If you want a nice experience in Skopje which is worth your money, choose DoubleTree by Hilton or Marriott Hotel.

At first glance, the room looked clean but over several days, they never changed our towels. To make matters worse, I discovered my face towel was extremely dirty, as if it had been used to clean a filthy surface. Some of my friends also found insects in their rooms, which was very concerning. The staff, in general, were not very welcoming. Aside from two waiters who were genuinely kind and professional, the rest of the service left a lot to be desired. One particularly frustrating moment was when a waitress refused to refill our water glasses, claiming we were only allowed ONE CUP OF WATER ( i know its as ridiculous as it sounds) Overall, the experience was far below expectations. I would not recommend staying here.
