We stayed there for five days (a couple and a kindergarten-aged girl) during July with full board service. The complex is large and feels like a picturesque village and is pleasant to walk around in between variety of buildings and apartments. The service everywhere was courteous and friendly (cleaning, maintenance, reception staff and restaurant staff). We had an excellent service experience at the food and dining service through our stay. We had a very positive and pleasant experience at The Alexander beach hotel!

We have just returned from a week here B&B. The location is stunning and the ideal place to come to relax. Different pools to choose from and no one rushing to secure beds in the morning. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with so much choice. The room was quite basic but very clean and cleaned every day. The staff here are so lovely and really make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We will definitely be back!

What I loved: The location is unbeatable — directly on the sand, with beautiful views. The staff were truly outstanding: always kind, ready to listen, and eager to find solutions to any issue. For me, the personnel alone deserve a full five stars. Where I was disappointed: Unfortunately, the infrastructure, services, and overall experience didn’t match the advertised 5-star standard. Examples: • We had to wait three days to receive an iron. • The cleaning service often didn’t change the sheets when asked, frequently brought too few towels, and sometimes left dirty coffee cups unwashed. • The pool chair system was inconvenient, and you had to act quickly to get one. • The Wednesday Greek Grill show cost nearly €30 per person, even though the stay was already expensive. • There was no all-inclusive option, only half-board. • Furniture and facilities felt dated in places, not matching 5-star expectations. Overall, I would rate the experience as a 3.5 to 4-star level — not a true 5-star. I booked through TUI, and both their site and the hotel’s site list it as 5-star, but in my opinion, that’s misleading without significant upgrades or greater transparency. Either the hotel should improve its facilities and services to match the 5-star label, or adjust the pricing to reflect the actual experience. Final thought: I truly appreciate the amazing staff and the beachfront location, but I left feeling the price was too high for what was offered.
