Alexander Palace

I am giving 5 starrs to my stay. And 5 stars were earned by the staff of this hotel. Everyone who we met there were friendly and helpful. Reception team was professional. Restaurant crew met us with a smile every morning. Special thanks to Maria Teresa, who was caring and sweet. House keeping ladies - thank you for your daily service. Staff absolutely can either make your stay or destroy it. In our case they all made it perfect. True, the interior of this hotel is not up to date, however, it still leaves an impression of a palace. Natural stone tiles everywhere. Leather couches. Giant chinese vases. Murals and ceiling art, chandelliers... White and gold colour scheme. Yes, blankets were inside of the wardrobe, but who needs them on top of the bed at +28 C outside? :) The internet in the room was ok, we were watching youtube without interruptions. Swimming pool and sun loungers was clean and nice. They have swimming hats policy there. When residents ignore it, and if this is bothering other pool users, the staff is tackling it. They also sell swimming caps at reception if one may need. Theatre! Amazing big stage, comfortable seats. Changing rooms available. We were here for performing arts festival and not a bad comment regading theatre. Great and perfect experience. My summary would be: If you need anything, just ask.

Been there recently for a conference. I spent 5 nights. Overall, the experience was fine, but the hotel is not 4 stars at all. It could have been 4 stars 40 years ago. Since then, nothing seems to have been updated. The AC in the room cannot be controlled. The only way is through the electrical panel. The wifi was non-existent in my room. The toilet was not flushing enough, and the shower was very narrow and falling apart. There was no way to indicate that I was in the room, so the cleaning staff would try to enter in my room while I was working or having a call. Overall, okay but it made me a bit embarrassed in front of my foreign colleagues as an Italian. We claim to live in a country full of beauty, and then we present ourselves like this... Nevertheless, the food was good, both for lunch and dinner, and the staff kind and helpful.

stay at Alexander Palace, we enjoyed the stay and hotel services, but the swimming pool could have been more through cleansing. the breakfast and dinner were inkluderer in hotel service. the food was fresh cooked and tested very delicious.the staff took the children into account, especially at dinner, making another dish that they could eat.. room service did not clean rooms very well. we liked the location of the hotel so we had to go easy out to look at sights in northern Italy. thanks to the hotel staff for being helpful and friendly 🥰❤️👏🏿
