Alfama Lofts Lisbon

The best experience i have in a service apartment in Lisbon .. Very clean and location it’s amazing !! Obrigado

We arrived and it was easy to enter the building. Its beautifully decorated with a lovely kitchen. However, it smelled very damp and one of the bedroom heater was just blowing cold air. Not only that,but there was no heating at all.

This review isn't for the Alfama lofts. I have yet to find any Google reviews for the Castilho flat, so I'm going to leave this here: DO NOT rent a room there, under no circumstances. The woman who "welcomes" you there - who will either go by the name of Zoriana or "Sarah" - never shows up if you're in need, rarely ever answers your queries, and worst of all STEALS your money. She owes me €460 since the 14th of August: €160 from the deposit, €150 from an overpayment and a further €150 as I had to leave half way through the month. To this day (11th of September 2021) she has yet to send me the money she owes me and now refuses to even answer me on WhatsApp (which is the only form of contact you will have with her). There have been other instances like this with previous flatmates, Zoriana would do all she could to avoid paying the deposit back. It's a real shame because the flat is nice and rather clean, but this woman is clueless, irresponsible, and a fraud. J
