Alfamar Beach And Sport Resort

I was so worried to stay here after reading the bad reviews, but we arrived yesterday and all is great so far. The lady in reception is lovely and checked us in 4 hours early. Our room is spacious with a great sized balcony and spotless. The dinner was lovely with plenty of choice. The outdoor pool is clean with plenty of sun beds amd the beach is spectacular. I will update after we leave, but honestly, ignore the horror stories.

Nice hotel. Great facilities but in dire need of a remodel. The hotel is located in a fantastic area just off the beach. Indoor and outdoor pool. Big rooms but everything feels 100 years old. The shower went from cold to scalding every 10seconds. The safes were key safes that you stood to loose 30€ deposit if you lost the key. The restaurant was buffet for dinner and no other options. The outside seating area was on a balcony and closed off and the area under the balcony was roped off with do not enter workers tape giving the impression it actually was unfit for purpose and might fall down. Such potential but ruined through lack of upkeep

Excellent and prime location but that’s all, everything else is of extremely poor quality. The furniture is very old and worn out, the water pippin is old so when taking shower shifts from warm water to cold or boiling. The pavement of car park is all lift up and you risk damaging your car, no Wi-Fi, no chest of drawers, no iron or ironing board. Bed lining and pillows of bad quality. This hotel should be a max of 2 stars. Do not be fooled, this hotel is far from being 4 star hotel.
