Alhambra Court

Perfect! This was a last minute booking for us, after being let down by the hotel we'd originally booked but turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Beautiful decor and luxurious furniture in the public lounge areas, felt like staying in a National Trust property whilst at the same time not feeling intimidating; the little garden was lovely to sit in too. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, had a great nights sleep in the comfy bed. Breakfast was fantastic, with a range of options to choose from. An added bonus was the ample free car parking, such a rarity for a city centre hotel.

Almost delightful place to stay, lovely rooms & well appointed including the bathroom. Also two nice lounges to unwind. Breakfast was superb - spoilt for choice cooked to your liking & served to your breakfast table. Parking at rear & easy short walk to York minster & the Shambles. Great.

Central hotel A very well placed hotel within five minutes walk to York Minster. Very pleasant staff and a lovely garden for when the sun shines. Bedroom small but comfortable and with an excellent bed. Bathroom very small and with a very slow shower! Breakfast excellent with a good choice on the menu. Would certainly stay again.
