Our second trip - we visited for the first time over Thanksgiving, which was obviously busier and had more events - but the visit in July was just as delightful. The staff is so well trained, the beach is small but delightful. The entire resort is on a river - and it’s breezy and emersed in nature. Somehow every room feels private - and most, if not all(?), have their own private pool. We did the Mayan experience dinner - unbelievable- I love this place and will come back for years. Something for everyone! It doesn’t feel cheesy or too focused on alcohol or golf - like some resorts - and I feel relaxed after the first hour!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Eduardo and his team for providing us with a truly 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived, their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. Eduardo went above and beyond to ensure that every member of our group was having a great time—from accommodating our preferences to helping us make the most of everything the resort had to offer. It was clear that the entire team genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for us, and they succeeded in every way. A special thank you to Bruno, who did an excellent job guiding us through the nature sanctuary—one of the highlights of our trip. His knowledge, passion, and thoughtful insights made the experience both peaceful and unforgettable. We also can’t say enough good things about the breakfast each morning—it was both delicious and beautifully presented, a perfect start to each day. Arturo in particular did a fabulous job helping us throughout the experience, accommodating our preferences with such care and warmth. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made everything feel both luxurious and personal. We also want to express our gratitude to the housekeeping team, who did an amazing job cleaning and maintaining our large villa every day. Their work was seamless, thorough, and made our stay all the more comfortable and relaxing. Thank you again, Eduardo, Bruno, Arturo, the housekeeping staff, and the entire team, for your outstanding hospitality. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories—and we’ll definitely be back!

We recently spent a family vacation at the Banyan Tree Mayakoba, and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, given a boat tour of the lagoons and treated to a relaxing check-in with refreshing drinks and snacks—such a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room located right on the beach, offering breathtaking views, private pool and easy access to the shore. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, making it incredibly easy to relax and unwind. The staff throughout the resort were consistently polite, helpful, and attentive. The level of service we received was outstanding—every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The food was another highlight, with a variety of delicious options for kids and grown ups alike. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the attentiveness of our resort host, Rene. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit. His thoughtful service and dedication stood out and added a personal touch that made all the difference. Overall, Banyan Tree and its staff delivered on every front—comfort, service, food, and atmosphere. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and already talking about when we might return.
