Alirene Mykonos

I had the most special and memorable stay at Alirene; truly a place that feels like home the moment you arrive. The property itself is stunning: perched in a peaceful area surrounded by nature, it offers a serene escape from the energy and chaos of Mykonos town, while still being just a short drive away from all the beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. One of the things that makes the hotel so unique is the atmosphere. Waking up to the sound of goats and cows nearby and watching them roam from the terrace added a charming, grounding touch to each day. The views, the stillness, and the surrounding beauty create a feeling of peace that’s hard to describe. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality of Theo and Eva. From the moment I arrived, I felt not just welcomed, but genuinely cared for. I fell ill during my stay, and they went above and beyond; they brought me fresh lemons from their tree, checking in on me daily, and making sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable and supported. It’s rare to find that level of kindness and attentiveness, especially while traveling. Each morning became a cherished ritual: sipping a perfect Freddo cappuccino, chatting with Theo or Eva, and starting the day with warmth and laughter. I felt so at home that I kept extending my stay… and ended up spending nearly two weeks there. It was hard to leave!!! Alirene is an experience of genuine hospitality, connection, and peace. I’m so grateful to have found it, and I can’t wait to return!!

Excellent stay with Théo and Eva in October. These owners of their hotel built last year have the art and way of hosting in very pleasant, very professional conditions for a very successful first season. The architect built them a very beautiful residence, not too big but well suited to the location and close to the main sites to visit on the island. Agreements made with car, quad, or motorcycle rentals from the hotel under attractive conditions. Gargantuan breakfast on the terrace of your room with natural and good products.
