The dorm rooms are decent, and we even had our towels changed after two nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean, which is impressive considering the number of people staying here. However, a significant downside is the kitchen situation—not because the kitchen itself is bad (after all, which hostel kitchen is perfect?), but because there are only two small fridges for so many guests. It would be beneficial to install larger fridges and implement a bag system for storage. Nonetheless, the price-to-value ratio is quite okay.

My bag and camera were STOLEN during my stay—and the hostel did nothing to help. I stayed here for two nights in April over Easter, and my belongings were stolen from the dormitory area. Security at this hostel is extremely poor. I was in an 8-person dorm with a veranda door next to the main entrance. The door was left slightly open—likely because the room had no air conditioning and very poor ventilation—making it easy for someone to enter without a swipe card. After the incident, I asked the staff for CCTV footage. At first, they claimed the manager was on leave and they couldn’t access it. When I called again a few days later, the manager told me he wouldn’t release footage unless the police requested it. A week later, they changed their story entirely, claiming there were no cameras at the dorm entrance at all—which was both frustrating and deeply ironic. Another guest in my room also had things stolen. The hostel staff made no effort to support us or follow up seriously. This experience ruined a portion of my trip, and I would strongly urge others to reconsider staying here. Safety should not be optional.

We checked in after 4:30pm, and things started off a bit rough. There was no parking available, even though the listing on their website said “free parking .” We were then told it’s actually first come, first serve basis. I have a ligament tear in my knee, so we parked in the disabled parking space briefly (around 30 minutes) with the receptionist’s permission. But we made sure to move it soon after, as we know someone else might genuinely need that space. Personally, I think there should be parking available for paid hotel customers. The room looked okay at first, but there was an odd smell that lingered the entire stay. We had just finished a 3-hour drive, so we rushed to freshen up. The shower and toilet were clean, with great water pressure and instant hot water—which we appreciated. But the showerhead was placed quite low, so my tall husband had to bend to use it. Also, ventilation in both the bathroom and room was minimal. The bed was comfortable, the duvet was warm, and the heater worked great. We were cozy, but still couldn’t get much sleep due to the noise. Doors were constantly being shut throughout the night, and people were talking right outside the rooms. The walls were thin, so we heard everything—even during late-night bathroom visits. Overall, it had some positives like cleanliness and warmth, but the lack of parking, noise levels, and poor ventilation really impacted our stay. Might be okay for a short visit if you're not a light sleeper—just don’t count on guaranteed parking.
