A very nice hotel, nice house, perfect jacuzzi and shower. Large hotel area with a free shuttle bus which takes hotel quests to the Turtle Beach. Anyway there is a small beach close to hotel reception. There are only a few beds but we like it very much. There is a big bin, where you can put out the rubbish from the beach or sea. So I could make small contribution to cleaning the sea and protecting animals. There is a also an information board about what is not allowed when swimming in the sea. It explains how the coral reef should be treated. A small downside was the breakfasts- practically the same every day- not very varied
We had a fantastic 4-night stay. The villas are spacious, modern and convenient, the food is great and the service by everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Moana for the helpful recommendations and for making it an even more memorable stay for our daughter.
Overall, Allamanda Imgya Coral Village is a great place to stay. Location is nice (beaches in walking distance), homes are modern and cozy, staff is always so friendly. Of course, it is no place for budget tourists, but we opted for a stay there aware of the price we would face - or so we thought. I booked directly through the Shigira Seven Miles Resort website, entered the age of our kids and opted for "no additional meals, no futon". Booking was confirmed with a "total price". Arriving at the hotel, we had to pay an extra service fee for our children, "so they can use all the facilities" provided by Shigira (e.g. pool). That was an extra 20% of the formerly stated "total price". That does add up over the course of a week. We argued but at the end there was no way around, we had to pay the extra 20%. I still feel somewhat cheated about that. Two other points worth mentioning: The breakfast buffet was the same every other day. The variety was big enough for us to always find something, but keep in mind that it is repeating itself quite often. The Shigira offers some activities for joung children - but only in Japanese. So good that we paid the service fee! Staff was really eager to help with everything. That felt very nice. The complementary shuttle service to and from the hotel was also very nice.
