Wonderful owner! Room air-conditioning was not able to be turned on, so she upgraded us. BEAUTIFUL cave room. Quiet, very clean. Amazing Hotel. Breakfast served at Cafe right near the large Church nearby. Great stay!
I spent a night with my family visiting beautiful Matera. Ludovica (4 years old) immediately fell in love with the cave, exclaiming in a series of "Wow"s at everything she had never seen in a regular hotel room. Mariangela's welcome was impeccable from the start, advising us on how to get there by guiding us from the parking lot, and then recommending typical places to visit and eat. Cave cleanliness and furnishings: 10/10 Thank you for this wonderful experience! If we were to return to Matera, I wouldn't hesitate to choose where to stay!!! Morganti family, 16/7/25, room 2
Alle grotte is a beautiful location...inside a rock, with attention to every detail. Centrally located, super clean.
