Allegretto Vineyard Resort Paso Robles

I spent three days and two nights at Allegretto and cannot compliment them near as much as they deserve. The room was beautifully appointed and clean. The service was impeccable. The grounds were a joy to just walk around and see. The wine tasting (their wines) was well done. The food was terrific. I could go on and on, but rather than take my word for it, I will tell you I WILL return. This hotel should be an example for all others to follow.

Love love this place! Just the cleanliness, location and the ambience is superb. We only stayed for a day but I wish we could stayed longer. From the structure and the decor with attention to detail was beautiful. It felt like I was in Tuscany. My favorite area was the courtyard in the middle of the property. I would definitely come back again. I must say that this place is the best one I’ve ever stayed in California.

We booked a prepaid suite with a fireplace and when we arrived, they did not have availability of the room we booked. They put us in a room without mentioning it was different than what we booked. When we came back to the front desk, they offered us a room without a fireplace or an ADA room with a fireplace. Our flight was delayed and we were going to arrive shortly after the 9pm cutoff time for room service. There is no food available anywhere in the hotel after 9pm. We called prior to 9pm and requested room service be delivered to our room for when we arrive and the hotel refused to do so. We went to the bar which remains open later but does not serve food. It was an enjoyable experience. However at 7am this morning, motors could be heard outside our room (I assume a leaf blower by the sound) and they began cleaning the pool. Both of these noises were loud enough to make it difficult to stay asleep. Property is beautiful but service is not near the level it should be. With the exception of one staff member, no other staff members seemed concerned at all about what was clearly a negative guest experience from the start.
