Alliance Hotel

It’s 3-star but the rooms are well maintained like a 5-star hotel. Stayed 2 nights. I stayed in a suite room, had a wonderful 2 way balcony with a great Mountain View. Hygienic washroom. Super cool interior and furniture. Had a great time because of the beautiful room in city centre. Buffet was totally western breakfast. But tastes good. I dislike only one thing that, the water bottles are limited 1 per day. If you need extra, they charge for that. The receptionist who is curly haired, really irritated me to the core by wasting my time early morning during checkout. By not taking room key for checking, again came down, again forgot to check mini bar, again went back. Was having a rude face. She charged extra for water, which I didn’t use too. I just left because my cab driver was waiting. Overall experience was good.

I appreciate the Alliance staff, especially Saba, for their warm welcome and assistance during our friend's birthday celebrations on the night of the 31st. Saba, if you come across this message, a big thank you for your exceptional hospitality. However, there were some concerns about the rudeness of the female staff during breakfast.

This is a quaint and homely hotel. We spent Christmas - New Year break here and it felt like being in a Christmas movie. The staff is accommodating and helpful in spite of the occasional language barrier. It is about 7-10 minutes walk from the main road and this path gets very quiet at night . There's a bus station a short walk away which will drop you off at the main road, if you plan on using public transportation. Overall, lovely experience at the hotel . Ideal if you want to be away from the bustling of the city.
