service was great, and the facilities such as the heated pool and restaurant was nice. the hotel rooms we got in the villa however were very sketchy. when we arrived into our room, the floors were wet, and smelt strongly of chlorine, and the tap water also smelt like chlorine. the toilet door also did not lock. the bed creaked even when a bag was placed on it, and the blankets were very stiff. the handrail on the stairs were also breaking apart. based off the quality of the rooms, the hotel was overpriced and not worth it. when i was looking at pictures of the resort in the website, i was extremely disappointed with the reality. overall, this is an overpriced resort, that has false advertising.
When we first were researching on where to book a villa in point lookout, we came across “Allure” now, the pictures that were given were extremely different from the actual experience. The floors were filled with chlorine as soon as we got there as if they didn’t even clean the room from the other guests. After this terrible smell we decided to go see the beds, and these beds were atrocious they were creaky and had stains in them. We also went to the supposedly ‘heated’ pool. We went down to the pool and hopped in and realised the water was freezing cold. So, if you want to spend 1000 dollars on a terrible room, that has jammed locks, creaky beds, and smells like chlorine, this is certainly the place for you.
As soon as we walked in, the hotel wasn't even up to standard, and smelt horrible. Our beds were all unusually creaky, the walls were scratched, and the sanitation in the bathrooms were absolutely terrible. The supposedly heated pool, was far from being heated, and the doors didn't lock, as if the lock was jammed. Overall, this hotel was extremely overpriced and disappointing. If you are willing to pay $1000 a night for a terrible experience, then this is the place for you.
