Ally Beach Boutique Hotel Hoian

Ally Beach Boutique Hotel I rolled into Ally Beach after a 6-day motorbike journey across Vietnam — road-weary, sun-soaked, and just looking for a place to chill. Within minutes of checking in, I was posted up at the bar swapping stories with the bartender (aka The Dragon — trust me, you’ll know him when you meet him). I only planned to stay one night, but the good vibes were too strong to leave. The staff made me feel right at home, the room was spotless and comfy, the pool was calling, and the beach? Literally across the street. Breakfast hit the spot, I got one of the best massages of my trip next door, and dinner at the Old Man restaurant next door sealed the deal. If you need a break from the chaos of Old Town, this place is your soft landing. Highly recommend — and give The Dragon a fist bump for me.

My family (9 & 11years) stayed here for a few nights in between to ‘backpacking’ legs of our Vietnam trip. The hotel staff were super, place clean and comfortable, the pool cool and clean - girls loved that - and the breakfast buffet was a great surprise, a good selection with eggs cooked to order. We had room service one night and food was delicious and very reasonably priced (cheaper than other local places). Access to beach - which is also nice - so we’d recommend a stay.

I booked to spend 7 days here. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast was great. The ocean was just across the road and the pool was cool and refreshing. Unfortunately there were a few rather loud families and because of the design of the hotel the sound carried through the hotel. I opted to rather check out for the last few days. The front desk team were very apologetic and great in seeing that my early departure was processed correctly with Agoda to ensure I got refunded. Nice little hotel.
