Alma Boutique Hotel

Alma Boutique Hotel was amazing as we had to find a place last minute that actually had air conditioning during the heat wave, and there was an actual human at the reception desk we could call and speak with who was extremely helpful and didn't just tell us to go on bookings.com (we tried this with another extremely popular hotel nearby, called and were told to just go on bookings.com even though we told them it wasn't working for us). The room was extremely spacious, had tons of storage space, a mini fridge, and was very clean and neat. The location is quiet but extremely centrally located and walkable to many different popular spots in the city. The breakfast included is amazing, the cook/staff is extremely competent and amazing at her job there - we can't thank her enough! She was very hospitable and friendly. All the staff we encountered at the hotel (all the concierges, the cleaning staff, kitchen staff) were very friendly and warm. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We didn't use this, but check-out at 11 am is wonderful, and there is also space for you to leave your luggage as well as a washroom you can access even after you check-out, which is extremely helpful.

I had a very lovely time staying here. Staffs are accommodating and friendly. The location is really central. There's a top-notched, world-class coffee "window" just outside. Who would have thought! The room is on the small side but very clean and comfortable. As a lone traveller, I felt safe. Well done to the team! The photo is the steps going to the coffee place. 😉

If you like your room temperature below 76 this isn’t the place to stay, our rooms were hot and the breakfast very disappointing however, the location was very good
