We had a truly memorable stay at Alma Resort. The room was in excellent condition, and every meal—from breakfast and dinner to lunch at the food court—was delightful. Both the beach and the pools were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. One particularly touching moment was when I lost my wallet. I had already given up hope, but thanks to the staff's thoughtful and diligent efforts, it was found and returned to me. I was so grateful. I would love to return to Alma Resort for my next holiday.

Stayed at Alma for 5 nights 6 days. It was the end of our Vietnam trip so we decided to stay at a resort. And it was worth it! The resort is beautiful, a lot of pools and a couple of adults only pool as well. The beach is right there as well. The room was fairly nice except we had AC problem and a smell coming, but we contacted service and they tried to fix the problem and cleaned all the vents. Their service was great as they continued to check in with us to see how everything was going. The breakfast buffet is great!! Something for everybody, and pho every day. There are activities for kids and adults. I did woodworking, but there’s also painting, laser printing. You can also plant a tree, science museum, game room. It’s truly a nice resort and family friendly. But you have to watch the Alma Show at night! They did an awesome job setting everything up with a story behind each dance. It was fun, entertaining and informative on Vietnam culture.

The check-in experience was underwhelming. Staff did not appear welcoming or enthusiastic, and it felt as though they were simply rushing to get us checked in. Additionally, we noticed that other guests received a welcome gift, while we did not— this highlights the inconsistency in service. On our first day, we stepped on a sticky brown stain—an unsettling indication that the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. Additionally, there were pencil scribbles on the side of the bedding, which is unacceptable for a place that calls itself a resort. We also noticed an inconsistency in room amenities: while our friend in a separate room could adjust their AC down to 20°C, ours was restricted to a minimum of 23°C. We understand the climate challenges in Vietnam, but it’s unclear why the thermostat limits differed between rooms. These issues collectively reflect a lack of attention to detail and consistency. The main issue we encountered was with the deposit cancellation. While we fully understood the policy and paid the deposit accordingly, it was not properly registered in the resort’s system. At check-out, we were asked to provide proof of payment; otherwise, the deposit could not be refunded. We were never informed at check-in that keeping the receipt was necessary. Fortunately, I had kept mine and was able to resolve the issue myself. However, this raises a serious concern—had I not kept the receipt, would the resort have withheld my money due to their internal error?
