Almhof Family und Wellness Resort

This was our third stay at the Almhof Hotel, and it only gets better each time. The service is always outstanding, from the cleaning staff to the manager and owners, everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming. The facilities are among the best I’ve experienced. The kids had endless activities to enjoy, and the only challenge was convincing them to leave. They especially loved the new video games section. We’re already looking forward to our next vacation there.

This hotel does not need good reviews as it is already hard enough to book. Those who come here once, keep coming again and again. But the rating shouldn’t be anything less than 5.0. The hotel caters to both kids and parents in all the possible ways. Whether you prefer champagne for breakfast or freshly squeezed juice (or both), whether you are into cigars or early morning runs, intense sports like cycling and weightlifting or pilates & yoga - you will get it in this lovely place. For kids, choice is unthinkable, climbing room, trampoline, soft play, kids room, bike pump track and skiing school in winter, different water slides, and of course rabbits and Almiopolis. And 12 hours per day of free childcare starting from 3 month old babies! Despite being a kids hotel it is very quiet. There are not that many rooms especially for the amount of fun and recreation zones. There is never a queue to a coffee machine even at breakfast. And there are amazing adult-only zones, saunas, jacuzzi and just quiet spaces with breathtaking views to read a book or to work. You can also feel that the hotel is family owned, the owners are a very pleasant family personally welcoming guests. Huge thanks to Elizabeth and Peter for their hard work and for their vision of creating the best ways for different families to have great holidays. And they do reinvest and make the hotel better and better from year to year. The recent additions of the Almiopolis and the game and VR zone is super nice. The service has a personal touch. The team of the hotel is simply amazing. I can’t name every single person making our stay amazing, but I do have very special thanks for Alexander, Aksi, Kata and Meggy, Veronica, two Miguels, Alexis, Steffi, Sandrina, Emilie, Joyce, all of the super kind kids club team, including Kitti, Agi, Michaela, Thomas, Robert, Helene and Anna and of course special thanks to Reini for his amazing classes and personal approach to guests (whether this is choice of music or an extra class on his day off by special guest request). Sorry if I forgot someone or I don’t know your name, all the staff that works here is great, and they go extra mile to make your stay very pleasant and relaxing.

We were a family of 4 with 2 young kids. The hotel caters really well to both adults and kids. Ski school and kids club for our 3.5 year old and kids club for our 2 year old. Amazing variety of kids pools and slides etc as well as beautiful spa and adult pool. Food was excellent and bonus was the lunch that was included on the mountain so we could ski for as much of the day as we wanted. Staff really nice, friendly and knowledge Ski school instructors for kids were amazing and filled them with confidence. 100% recommend for your next family Ski holiday.
