Almhotel Glieshof

We have been at the Glieshof Almhotel on the 12-16 October 2020. This hotel excels in so many aspects that it's actually hard to find what's best there. We were 7 people, three families with age going from 9 to 78 years, everyone has found the perfect equilibrium among food, tranquillity, beauty of the rooms and enchantment of the surrounding valley. The staff is highly skilled, nice and pleasant. The facility is great, also providing a small, but comprehensive S.P.A. The food is a pure dream, the spectrum of variety is wide spanning from local, Italian to international cuisine. Breakfast are humongous and delicious, the dinners are always a nicely prepared food surprise. I can't really say anything negative about this fantastic hotel. We'll be certainly be back here!

We dropped by at this hotel to have a drink and rehydrate with some soup. The waiters and receptionist were very friendly and sympathetic. At the reception there was a small selection of maps and Topo guides for winter and summer activities, which can be very handy for last minute alpine enthusiasts. We did not stay there but I can imaging the sauna being divine after a long day on the mountain. Would recommend even just based on the friendly personnel. Speaks English, Italian and German.

Very nice owners and service. Great rooms and 4-course dinners. This made a great base for ski touring with tours starting directly from the hotel.
