Almhotel Kärnten

We had a very delicious dinner at the restaurant. The dishes were flavorful and of excellent quality. Special thanks to Sándor, our waiter, for his attentiveness and kindness, which made the experience even more special. Everything was perfectly in order, I highly recommend this place! Hope we will get back very soon!

In a spectacular environment, with all the facilities needed (both for winter and summer vacation), spiced with very welcoming and friendly staff (special thanks to Aliz and Sandor to make our stay unforgettable!!). The room itself (with a huge balcony to the magnificent panorama of the Alps) , the sauna world, the restaurant...simply amazing! Close proximity (practically 10m from the main entrance door) to the slopes is a bonus! We had an awesome ski season starting early December thanks to this hotel!! We'll definitely come back during spring/summer time!!

I'm reviewing the restaurant only: I DO NOT RECOMMEND. 2 stars only because the reservation for a big group was easy (if you speak German of course). We went here for dinner. The set up of the table was nice, but that was all. The menu was very, very short without food allergy indicators. For gluten free people there is only salad. And that goes for Vegan people too.The 1 Litre of tap water costs 3,50€. The waiters couldn't speak English very well, which made the ordering quite hard. Food itself was OK, but for 4 stars hotel with those prices I would expect more. So if you have a chance to go somewhere else, please do. P.S. I'm adding the current menu as it is impossible find any info about it on their webpage or here, on Google.
