Almira Hotel Thermal Spa & Convention Center

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It features four pools in total—three indoor and one outdoor. There’s a thermal pool (38–41°C) with pressure outlets for a massage-like experience, a regular indoor pool, an indoor pool with a jacuzzi bed, and an outdoor rooftop pool—all included in the hotel price. The open buffet breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were very kind and attentive, and there’s free on-site parking available, which was very convenient. Our whole family loved the hotel, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Bursa, Turkey!

“We never left the property!” My husband and I live in Istanbul and were in Bursa for just one night. The weather was really rainy and the night life just wasn't what we remembered from previous trips there. Many places had closed that we were looking forward to visiting. Fortunately, Almira was perfect for this very situation! When it wasn't raining we sipped bevvies by the pool and when it was raining we booked massages and spent time in the gorgeous spa. We planned on going out for dinner, but the rain made it less desirable, so dinner at Luna it was! We had a perfectly cooked steak and seabass. The food was perfect. The entire staff was great. Our room was very average but the service and the spa and restaurants are clearly where the 5-star rating comes from! A special thanks to our server, Yaren, for taking extra care of us! From breakfast to cocktail hour, Yaren was there with a smile on her face, great recommendations, and expert timing! We wanted for nothing when she was around. Thanks so much, Yaren! We are looking forward to our next stay.

An upscale hotel that needs a little bit of refurbishing. The rooms were big and lovely but the bathrooms are old, and the AC system is ancient. When we tried to have a bit more of a fan, it started making so much noise that we gave up. The roof top area is great! Too bad the swimming pool was still closed The spa is ok, a bit old as well. The hammam experts were very good but the spa receptionists were difficult to communicate with. They assume you don't understand them and stop listening. We had a comic experience, when the receptionist was trying to explain what I didn't understand because of the "differences in culture" only to finally realise that I understood her perfectly well. It's important to listen after all, and not focus on the alleged "cultural differences". The hotel has a good location if you, like us, want to be away from the hustle but still close to the centre.
