Almira Mare

This is the fifth time that I have stayed in the Almira Mare and I was welcomed as one of the family by all the staff. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is very good with an outside terrace looking out toward the bay, the perfect Greek way to start the day. The hotel is so peaceful and cool even during the hottest time of the day, the garden is also well kept. I was given a free upgrade to the junior suite as a welcome gift, very much appreciated and thank you. The bay is very quaint with a family friendly beach, fishing boats, several authentic Greek restaurants and almost no tourists.... I will definitely be coming back to this 'home from home'.

Great little place hidden away from the hustle of Chalkida and Athens! The staff was fantastic and always helpful. Spent three weeks and will definitely be back. I was there in the off season so not a lot of visitors while I was there. The hotel manager, Georgia, was a pleasure and we had morning chats while I had breakfast. She was definitely a highlight of my stay.

We recently visited this hotel hoping to spend time at their pool and café area while visiting a family member who had just undergone surgery. We politely asked if we could park in their lot for this purpose. Unfortunately, the gentleman at the parking area was extremely uncooperative and was shockingly rude. His attitude was not only unprofessional but completely unnecessary, especially given the circumstances. This experience left a very negative impression, and we will not be returning or recommending this place.
