My wife and I stayed at the Small Double Room for one night, and we were impressed by the experience. The room boasts an elegant design with warm-toned lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere. While the toilet is compact, it has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s public bath was a highlight, offering ample space to unwind and relax. It's worth noting that the laundry room is located within the bath area, so plan accordingly. The buffet breakfast was another standout, featuring a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to different tastes. Overall, the Almont Hotel Kyoto is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a business hotel with great facilities at a reasonable price. It’s a perfect spot to recharge during a trip.

I’ve stayed at Almont Hotel Kyoto twice in a row and both times were excellent. Everything was well organized and comfortable. I especially loved the public onsen – very clean and relaxing after a long day – and the breakfast was truly impressive: delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kyoto!

Nice hotel in walking distance of the station. Typically sized small rooms. Clean. Staff were kind (although one day one of them ran up to me as I was returning to verify that I was a guest- you need a key card to use the elevators). Nice selection of tea in the room. 2 all-in-one washer/dryers in the women's locker room (2 hours for a full cycle) 60 Yen(?). Large area outside of the locker rooms with water and vending machines. Public bathrooms. Women's locker room had a code for entry that changes periodically. The ONE thing I wish they had was outdoor seating. The weather was gorgeous and there was nowhere to sit outside. I ended up sitting on the brick surrounding the sign. Loved visiting the bamboo forest, market and adjacent areas. Very large breakfast variety. Would stay again!
