Almont Hotel Sendai

Hotel is located within walking distance from Sendai station. Even with luggage there wasnt much issue to get there. There are elevated pedestrian walkway from sendai station to cross the roads and escalator down to the main street. From there u can walk easily to the hotel. If raining, you can even walk undercover through one of the main shopping streets. Room is a tad small but still manageable for 2 person and 2 med luggage. Standard japanese bathroom with a slightly bigger bathtub. Room looks new and clean with comfortable bed. Hotel is located within walking distance from the famous morning market, just across the street. There are plenty of things to do and explore around. Great value for a short stay.

Hotel for business travellers. Rooms are cosy (fully compensating for a small size), clean and nicely maintained, all facilities work well. Location is perfectly close to Sendai central station, shopping area and the jewel of Sendai - morning market with best several places to eat fresh raw or nicely cooked seafood, straight from the ocean. The izakayas area in 5mins walk. The breakfast in the hotel is super tasty, mostly Japanese dishes. The hotel staff is well trained and ready to assist. Overall, value for money is excellent.

We stayed two nights here. We enjoyed our stay. We didn't get the breakfast so can't comment on that. The location is fine, very near the train station. I would stay here again if in Sendai.
