Almyra Hotel

Had booked the hotel initially on the outstanding reviews but leading up the trip had got a little nervous with a couple of mixed comments however we had a brilliant week and so glad we chose the Almyra Hotel. Rooms were very nice, Elena (owner) was so friendly and helpful, as were all the staff, breakfast was good quality, nice location with a 15 min walk to the beach or town which we did several times, relaxing pool and sunbeds. It’s not a 5 star hotel but for the price, the value was great. Just lovely

We had a lovely stay at the Almyra. The room was comfortable with spectacular views. The bar and dining areas are comfortably furnished, and the outside seating was again comfortable and nicely shaded. The pool was clean and a decent size (about 15m), with enough seating and sunbeds. The breakfasts and lunches were good too. The hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from Fiskardo, with a restaurant about half way. The hotel runs a shuttle bus service, although most times we walked back up the hill (safest if you take a torch). The beaches in the area are small and stony, but the hotel recommended Jerusalem beach (a €17 taxi ride) which is bigger, with sunbeds and an excellent taverna. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and really helpful. They really made us feel extremely welcome and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location, situation about 20min walk down hill to fiskardo and similar time up hill to return. Free shuttle bus to town at scheduled times, which is a great service if you decide to have a drink or two. Room, pool area, restaurant and bar areas all clean and no issues, you simply just cannot complain and the sea view rooms are a must. Waking up to the view every morning is a dream. And to the staff. What can I say. They are truly amazing and cannot do enough for you, very friendly and attentive to your needs. Highly recommend this hotel. We’ll be returning no doubt about that.
