Almyrida Village & Water Park

What can I say about this hotel — it’s a paradise! We’ve stayed at many luxurious 5+ star hotels, but Almyrida truly outshines them all. The service is beyond exceptional; it’s rare to find such genuine care and attention to detail. The food is delicious and always varied — every meal felt like a new experience. This vacation was simply a dream come true. A big thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful stay! Wishing the hotel continued success and prosperity. This is definitely not a 3-star hotel — it’s a solid 10 out of 10! ❤️❤️❤️

A nice 3 star hotel. The rooms are clean and modern and the pool is a good size. The only down side is the lack of staff. The bins are usualy overflowing and the bar is a 10-15 min wait due to one member of staff. The food is good with a decent selection of medetrian style cuisine. We came with two childern and they enjoyed themselves making good use of the small park and water slides. The hotel is a 5 min walk down the sea, with a few shops and restaurants along the sea front. Overall an enjoyable stay. As a remider you need to factor in the £30 environment fee when you arrive, which is standard now for all Greece hotels, villas etc.

Disappointing Experience** I recently stayed at Almyrida Village and Waterpark, and I must say it was a huge letdown. First off, the “waterpark” is nothing more than one slide – definitely not what we expected after seeing the name. If you're looking for a proper waterpark experience, you won't find it here. The food options were extremely repetitive. Every day felt like a repeat of the last, with very limited choices. It quickly became boring and uninspired, especially for those who enjoy a variety of meals. I expected more from a resort that promotes itself as a family-friendly destination. Our experience was further marred by several issues. We had no hot water during our stay, which made for an uncomfortable experience. On top of that, the staff refused to serve alcohol on our first day, which was disappointing after a long journey. When we requested a menu, we were met with refusal, leaving us guessing about our dining options. To make matters worse, there was no complimentary water provided in the room, despite the fact that we were advised not to drink tap water. This lack of basic amenities is simply unacceptable in any accommodation. Lastly, I found that most of the staff struggled to communicate in English, making it difficult to get help or ask questions, which added to the overall frustration. As for the drinks, I was shocked to discover that the alcohol was mostly water – about 80% water, to be precise! It was infuriating to have an all inclusive and the drinks barely had any actual alcohol in them. On our last day we was asked to take off our wristbands at 12:30pm despite leaving at 22:00 this isn’t what all inclusive resorts do, we missed out most of day 1 as it was. There is also a charge for pool towels which they do not refund at the end. This isn’t ideal but again not something I know for 4* hotels to do. The beds are not comportable at all and instead of getting a double we received 2 single beds, falling down the middle, which isn’t ideal. The only positive review I can provide is the hotel is clean, the rooms are cleaned daily and towels are provided. An additional negative, the tiles around the pool are damaged which is very dangerous for children and not a single life guard in sight. Overall, my stay at Almyrida Village and Waterpark did not live up to its promises. I left feeling overwhelmed and dissatisfied after a shocking holiday I am happy to go home which isn’t what anyone anticipates on doing. I can't recommend this place if you're seeking a fun and fulfilling vacation. Save your money and look elsewhere!
