Impressed by the overall experience. Located right in downtown, it’s perfectly situated within walking distance to top attractions like the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium, making it an ideal choice for both tourists and business travelers. The hotel is exceptionally neat and clean, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. It offers great value for money, being affordable without sacrificing comfort or service. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Accessibility is another highlight — the hotel is thoughtfully designed for guests with disabilities, featuring ramps, elevators, and accessible room options that ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. Parking was easy and convenient, with a secure on-site lot just steps from the entrance. This made check-in and getting around the city stress-free. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the stunning city view from the room’s large windows. The skyline at sunrise and sunset was absolutely beautiful and added a memorable touch to the experience. Hotel have build in bar and restaurants which makes it more pleasant. But there is no complimentary breakfast option. Overall, this hotel combines cleanliness, affordability, accessibility, and a prime location — I highly recommend it for anyone visiting downtown Atlanta.
I booked a stay here for my husband's birthday. This is the best Aloft we've ever stayed at! The workers were lovely and very knowledgeable of the area. We will definitely be staying here again for future Atlanta trips!
My daughter and I stayed here recently on our vacation trip to Atlanta. The hotel is in a great location, as it is within easy walking distance to attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola and others. It's also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Just a quick note though, it's in an interesting location in that a few blocks in one direction you have some amazing attractions and in the other direction there are liquor stores with bars on the windows and people panhandling when you walk by. Not the fault of the hotel, but I wanted to mention it. It didn't detract from our stay. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but fairly basic. One strange thing we both noticed was the lighting. To turn on the light in the shower/toilet, you also have to turn on the hallway light. The desk lamp didn't work unless the main light was turned on. The main lighting in the room was very dim. Overall it was a basic room that served us just fine. The hotel has a very nice pool and outdoor seating/lounge area, as well as a pool table/game area. We didn't use the bar at all, but it looked nice. Like most hotels these days, there is a charge for everything. There is a "breakfast" in the lobby each morning, which consists of a few items available for purchase. I ordered a bagel, which I had to retrieve myself and toast myself. The breakfast biscuit I ordered tasted good, but was very small for the price. The hotel has a large parking lot, and they charge $32 per night for parking. That is just something I will never understand. "Come and stay at our hotel, but we're going to charge you to park your car here. Oh, and by the way, we make sure to tell you that we are not responsible for anything that might happen to it." Like I said, this is par for the course these days, but I thought that $32 was a lot. Overall this a decent hotel in a really good location and we had a good experience in general.
