Aloft Bengaluru Whitefield

It is definitely not in par with the standard of "Aloft". Compared to Cessna Aloft, Whitefield needs to do better. The plumbing in the room was not great. Clogged sink, clogged bathroom after every use. Hot water facility was not great. Power trips even if we use hair dryer. Even the TV channels were minimal. Food was delicious, pool was clean, service was top-notch - no complaints. There are better hotels in the price range. But chose Aloft only for the experience, disappointed in the end.

Rooms and facilities- 4. Room is clean, no weird smell. No slipper provided though. The gym was aged. Environment is quiet. Service - generally ok, however the breakfast hall although start at 7am, things are generally not ready till 7.15 or 7.30am. Egg station, hot tea... will not be ready by 7am based on my 3days observations. Location - good. Close to office.

I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in Bangalore, and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. ✅ The only positives were the buffet options for dinner and breakfast — decent variety and taste. The rooms were also reasonably comfortable. ❌ But that’s where the good ends. The room key kept getting disabled multiple times a day. I was repeatedly told not to keep it near my phone — even when I didn’t, the issue persisted. It became a daily headache and was never fixed. ❌ The in-room dining was terrible. Poor quality food with odd taste — my colleagues had the same complaint. ❌ On top of that, the hotel hosted a loud, disruptive event near the pool/reception area that made it impossible to work or rest. For the price you pay, this hotel fails miserably to deliver a premium experience. It doesn’t live up to the Marriott brand in the slightest. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.
