Pleasantly appointed boutique hotel vibes. Simple but stylish room with standard wheelchair accessible bathroom. Polite, and accommodating staff. Usual breakfast buffet options. Reasonably priced bar. A little off the beaten track for access to the town centre, but would definitely book again.

I had a mostly positive stay at Aloft Birmingham Eastside. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—perfect for a good night’s rest. The staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few inconsistencies that impacted the experience. I was told there was no room service, yet found a room service menu in my room, which was confusing. I also tried to get food at the bar but was told there would be a 30–40 minute wait. When I mentioned my work-related monetary allowance, I felt a bit interrogated and was told I could only use it until the money ran out—which was already clear. On the plus side, breakfast was good and better organised than dinner, though I would have appreciated more fruit options for a healthier start to the day. Overall, a mixed stay—mostly good, with a few areas that could be improved for a smoother guest experience.

Overall it is a good hotel, we stayed in a family room which was spacious. Food, service and cleanliness was good. The British breakfast was tasty. The staff is really kind and helpful. Public parking is a walking distance away. Felt safe. Definitely recommend for families.
