Aloft Dongguan Dynamic Town

this is a solid choice. rooms are clean, pleasant and comfortable. breakfast has potential but could have better western options. many items were missing and weren't refilled even half an hour before closing. another minor issue was the hose of the shower head being too stiff - it kept pulling on the shower head spinning it sideways making it impossible to position where you wanted it. annoying, but far from a deal breaker. if you need this location it's a good choice.

although the no-fringes approach leaves a lot to be desired, the amenities provided are worth the price asked. a special mention to the staff of the hotel - I was lost (because the location on Google Maps is inaccurate) and was asked to wait while a staff member came out to retrieve me. just the willingness and helpfulness makes this a safe place to visit for newcomers to Shenzhen or Dongguan.

It’s a kind of Aloft with special feature which requires you to speak Mandarin or perhaps Cantonese. Location is not bad if you are traveling around Dongguan and Shenzhen. Room is good. Staff is nice and friendly, but speaks no English. No stars for the rating! They used my credit card number and put my friends name to the credit card holder name, so I didn’t get my deposit back. There are plenty hotels in Shenzhen - chose another one!
