I had an amazing experience at aloft! My Chinese isn’t great and I needed to ship something with SF (shun Feng) so the front desk (esp Regina Nie) helped me significantly! The room was clean and the breakfast was very impressive. So so so much better than the traditional continental breakfasts back in the US. You can make your own noodle bowl, get an omelet fried, and eat lots of other delicious Chinese foods. Also had baby mangos which I adored. I booked this hotel with points (v good deal) and knew the aloft branded hotels were generally in residential areas so location was not as great but I knew that coming in. Had a lovely time here,, would recommend:)
A quiet hotel located close to the University residence buildings. Unlike other Alofts, this one felt more like a Fairview since it has limited facilities that I noticed. The rooms are large, stylish and modern however the color scheme leans towards earthy and dark. The king sized bed is very comfortable, has fluffy pillows and has UK and Chinese power sockets available at the bedside. The breakfast was skipped as I had an early morning departure. Although the attendants are kind and supportive, the service to check in and check out is a bit slow.
Room was okay. It was not cleaned properly. Location wise, it is bit far from the city so be mindful of that. Not much to do around here. You will have to take cab to get to city which will take around 30-60mins depending on traffic. Overall it is decent for the price you are paying.
