Aloft London Excel

Nice hotel just 30 meters from the east end of the Excel convention center. This is the closest hotel to the east end of the convention center. The woman in charge of servicing the rooms on my floor was very kind and asked me several times if I needed anything (very nice, and rare these days). Breakfast was standard, nothing exciting but good food and healthy choices available. Quiet rooms with nice layout. Gym was good size and pool was also nice, warm. Sauna and steam rooms looked good.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this location. Very clean , super comfortable bed and great staff. Abigail was awesome at check-in. So many spaces to sit, chill and sip something refreshing. The tube was close by and the waterfront was as well. We found some great food spots within 1/2 mile. Would definitely again! ❤️

I’ll start with the positives nice and friendly staff, good location, not far from the station, tasty vegetable pizza and a good choice of snacks at the shop. Negatives, the view from my room, I was told there were no river views due to construction. If I had known this I would have booked another hotel. The room I had 708 had a blocked sink so I was moved to 831. I saw a mouse at the restaurant after I finished eating, a member of staff heard me scream he told me it must have come from outside since there is seating outside and the door is constantly opening and not the kitchen. I was supposed to have a complimentary breakfast for my birthday but decided not to so I was told I could pick a snack and drink instead. I didn’t get my moneys worth at all, very underwhelming.
