Aloft Tokyo Ginza

We enjoyed our stay at the Aloft Tokyo Ginza. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was great. The rooms were a bit small, but we liked the fact that we couldn't hear guests in the adjacent rooms. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The gym was small but decent. We booked through the Marriott app and it was much more expensive than if we had booked through booking.com.

Our trip started off on a bad note. This was the first time we were traveling with our brother and his family with 2 kids. They left from the West coast, we left from the Midwest. Our first flight was cancelled, which meant we would arrive one day late. Called the hotel to arrange the arrival for 2 out of the 3 rooms. The front desk person, who spoke great English was super helpful. When we arrived the next day, everything went smoothly. The room is a bit smaller than the U.S. version but probably big by Japanese standards. The breakfast, as typical in Asia, includes both western and Asian options. You can even get fresh made onigari, stuff rice balls. Everyone loved the breakfast options. Rooms are quiet. The air conditioning worked well but felt a bit weak for us.

Everything about Aloft Tokyo Ginza was excellent - great service, genuinely welcoming staff, amazing breakfast, cleanliness and attention to detail. If I had to nitpick, the shampoo in the rooms could be better quality and then can provide more than one luggage storage options in the room. But other than that, I would highly recommend and would definitely be coming back. Shout out to the breakfast restaurant manager & assistant manager - they were so meticulous and so beyond kind and genuine souls. They are the kind of people that make hospitality industry look good.
