⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aloha Central Premium Studios was an absolute gem! The studio was modern, clean, and extremely comfortable—perfectly set up with everything we needed for a great stay. The location was super convenient, and check-in was seamless. Great value for the quality. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Very comfortable space. Clean, quiet, and with all we needed for a short stay. Conveniently located near shops, cafes and walks, and a short distance from Blue Lake and Valley Lakes. Really enjoyed our time here. Have been to Mt Gambier many times over a very long time, and it’s still a great place to visit. Would love to return more regularly than we’ve been able to in recent years.

Sadly this establishment “cat fished” us and photos on website absolutely did not match the property! For a start the owner Nicole never responded to calls, texts or emails- we had to constantly keep calling as we had to check a few things prior to booking. When we did eventually speak to her there was an arrogance to her voice on the phone and didn’t appreciate this given the amount of money we were going to be spending over several days and rooms. The location of the property is awful- down an alley way next to a tyre business and the front studios all face a busy Main Street so forget about opening blinds during the day let alone at night otherwise everyone will see in! None of the windows in the room except the bathroom opened and this brings me to probably the biggest issue was the smell of mould and dampness. The property boasted a 5 star rating and built recently but you can see the quality of the fixtures and fittings were lacking and cheap even the shower cubicle was poorly built with water running down a slope and extremely slippery underfoot. As soon as we opened the room we were hit with a revolting stench of mould and mildew- at first we thought it was because it was raining the day we arrived but the smell did not go away despite us opening the bathroom windows and turning on the heaters and even brewing coffee to take the stench away. The dampness caused issues to our breathing and all of us came down with like a hay fever as the mildew was in the pillows and bed linen and it made for a terrible sleep and waking with puffy eyes and runny noses. The bathroom was filthy and not cleaned well as there was layer of dust on the toilet roll holder - this was odd to see given the cleaner had to open the lid to the toilet holder as it was full of toilet paper but failed to actually wipe the holder as it was thick with dust. There was short black hairs in the shower and definitely not ours as we have long blonde hair and husband is bald. Again showering made the mould and mildew smell worse as water is stagnant in the pipes too. The room although large and spacious is devoid of any style and severely lacking in personality! One bed head on the main bed but the other 2 single beds were pushed up against the wall with a small tiny light that barely gave off any light to read at night. Two tvs mounted to the wall within such a small proximity it made no sense as you wouldn’t be able to watch at the same time as the noise made it impossible to watch! Besides the main tv in the “bedroom” is not even opposite the main bed it was off centre making it difficult to watch tv in bed. There was no artwork or wall art to warm up the room to give it a personality and the room is similar to a large garage/ long with two walls either side and windows at the end that overlook the Main Street - remember that you can’t have the blinds open! The only smart feature was a large mounted print with a photo of the owner and shops/restaurants and attractions displayed with the distance/ this was thoughtful and a great addition to the room for visitors. A small uncomfortable lounge and a small glass round table with uncomfortable chairs added to the sparse furnishings. We ended up leaving early and even though we had paid for 3 nights as we could not stand the smell or the location/ the whole property was just a bad vibe given the location and we couldn’t take the stench anymore and just wanted to get home. I would never recommend this property even if it’s in the Main Street of mount gambier- there are many more properties available that don’t feel like you are sleeping in someone’s converted garage with mould and mildew.
