Alpacino Apart Hotel

I had a great stay at Alpacino hotel; it was a wonderful introduction to Türkiye! Only a 5 min walk to the tram station that gives you access to anywhere you will need to visit in Istanbul. The staff were some of the kindest people I’ve met, they made sure we had absolutely anything we needed and gave some great recommendations for places to visit and eat while you are staying there. If I could give them 10 stars for service I would. Highly recommend if you are looking for a lowkey hotel that is close to the city centre!!! It also had some wonderful views from the balconies on either side of the hotel.

We had an unforgettable accommodation experience in this apartment, which combines the excitement of the historical Grand Bazaar and the freshness of the deep blue sea. The location of the apartment was perfect, within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar and the sea. We were able to reach everywhere easily. The apartment itself was also very cozy and comfortable. The host was also very welcoming and helpful. He didn't hesitate to help us with anything we needed. If we come to Istanbul again we will definitely stay in this apartment. We definitely recommend this apartment to everyone!

We received the ground floor flat which has no views, even though the listing on booking.com shows sea views. Owner offered a 40euro discount on arrival, done so by "cancelling" our stay. Probably a fee avoidance thing. We later realised that this meant we couldn't post a review on booking.com. Rooms and apartment was nothing special, but fine - not sure why the owner feels they need to deceive people. Location is good for Blue mosque but all nearby restaurants are average, all the same, and they just want your money no matter what. I recommend staying in another area of Istanbul and travel in for the day. The owner then intimidated us to provide a good review on google before we left. The reviews they reply to on here saying that they are "spreading lies", are the only ones being honest.
