My stay at Alpen Village Hotel in Livigno was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was of the highest standard. Location & View The hotel is situated in a stunning location with breathtaking panoramic views of the Alps. Its easy access to the ski slopes makes it an ideal choice for winter sports enthusiasts. Even in summer, the area offers fantastic opportunities for hiking and cycling. Rooms & Amenities The accommodation was perfect – spacious, cozy, and spotlessly clean rooms with a modern interior. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the balcony offered a stunning view of the mountains. Food The hotel’s restaurant provides a rich and varied breakfast with delicious local products and freshly prepared specialties. Dinner was also excellent – gourmet cuisine with a great selection of wines. Spa & Relaxation The spa center was the ultimate treat after a day on the slopes – a warm indoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the snowy peaks. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. Service The staff was beyond friendly – always smiling, attentive, and ready to assist with any requests. They truly go above and beyond to make every guest’s stay perfect. If you are looking for the perfect combination of comfort, an excellent location, first-class service, and stunning nature, Alpen Village Hotel is the place for you! We will definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

Be aware of/avoid the "Standard rooms" here. We got one of those for a whole week (no pictures that showed how they look of course), and that was'nt very pleasant. A small room in the cellar with no view what so ever, other than a wall towards a soily backyard/alley. We booked through the Danish travel agency Nortlander in May 2024, so it would be quite easy to at least give us a decent room in level 1 or 2 of this "Chalet part" instead of zero - very disappointing. Room cleaning takes place every day, but one afternoon when we came back from the ski slopes our door was open with a 10 cm gap... We had to ask for toilet paper twice, as the cleaning staff only puts in one new roll now and then, The bathroom is lousy. No heating what so ever but a small towel heater that has to be put in on position with a few hours timer. The room heating system is electronic, but it doesn't matter what temperature we choose, after a few hours it closed and went back to +20 which was too low in that cellar room. My wife was freezing. The place as such is otherwise very nice. Huge in/outdoor pool and a beautiful sauna/relax area. The buffet food is also very nice, the only sad thing about the warm food is that it is cold, both when taking scrambled eggs and bacon when the breakfast opens, as well as when taking food that ought to be warm when the evening dinner opens. Sure, there are heating lamps over the food but unfortunately it does not help. The food that one supooses to get warm is cold. Overall also a nice and friendly staff (except from the head waiter that does not seem to get paid for seeing guests/saying hello/smile). Overall, the experince was frustrating to be honest as we paid a lot for this travel...

The food is fine and the bike parking spot is superb. There was though one think I actually really disliked. The food area is super loud and I don’t understand why it is that warm - 27 degrees - why? Same for the bar area - the sun shines into these spots, fine, but why isn’t there a technical solution to regulate the temperature to e.g. 23 degrees? What mocks me most though, is the fact, that I liked to sit at the window in the big bar area, because otherwise it was just too hot and unbearable for my taste otherwise - miss barkeeper came and closed the window saying she doesn‘t like it…well, so rather grill the guests as long as she doesn’t freeze in the 27 degrees warm area… This attitude against guests really makes me think twice whether to come visit again or choose a different accomodation next time
