Alpenbad Hotel Hohenhaus

What a super hotel!!! Staff is very kind. Rooms are very very clean! Pool and welness also clean and big enough. The restaurant has a tasteful breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a lift. The hotel is a bit on the high side, so walking or driving from and to the hotel is a bit of a challenge. If you’re packed with your rental stuff, it’s a bit harsh. And if there is a lot of snow it’s a bit tricky with your car. But you only have to do this maximum 4 times during your stay. And the rest you can transport yourself from and to the ski lifts with the free ski bus of the hotel.

This is a simply wonderful family run hotel. Excellent service. Amazing food. A good wine list. Fantastic facilities: sauna, steam room, hot tub, swimming pool, squash court; even a table football table. Not cheap, but worth the money.

This hotel has the worst service we’ve ever tried. My friends and I went to their hotel bar to celebrate that we passed our skiing instructor exams, and because every single person did not order something to drink, the bartender told us that we were rude and that we should “call home to our daddy to get some money or get out of there” Keep in mind this was low-season, and that we weren’t disturbing anyone else at the bar. It wasn’t exactly like there was a queue of people outside waiting. It was honestly a really uncomfortable experience, and I would really not recommend it.
