Alpendorf Anno Dazumal

We recently spent a wonderful days at the Anno Dazumal chalets with our kids, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the cozy atmosphere of our accommodation, complete with a fireplace and infrared sauna indoor. One of the highlights was the amazing wellness area, which offered a relaxing escape after a day of skiing. The stunning views of the Alpine peaks were simply breathtaking, especially the direct sight of the Hintertux Glacier (just ten minute drive by car to the base station of the glacier cable car). During the winter season would be the fantastic location for skiing, with the slopes accessible right from the doorsteps of the chalet! We enjoyed delicious breakfasts in the restaurant, and it was a lovely touch to have the option of having your meal delivered in a basket directly to your room. The warm and friendly owners and staff made us feel right at home, creating a welcoming family atmosphere. We can't recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to our next visit! I almost didn’t want to write this review to keep this place a secret. However, I think they earned it. Absolutely amazing. Great chalets, great views, great staff and service, and great food. Will absolutely be back, owners and staff were so friendly. We were here during the “off” season in September, after August holiday and before ski season starts in earnest, so the town and the chalet “village” as the owners call it, was very quiet, peaceful, and restful. 10 of 10 and will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Anno Dazumal. It's a beautifully designed and constructed facility with a traditional feel but with modern touches where they count. Our chalet was comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Very comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, a fireplace and cozy eating area. We appreciated the little details like cozy robes, slippers and spa towels, firewood and starter, well stocked mini-bar. The apres ski bar is always welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The spa is very relaxing and well equipped. The location is a short walk away from the Eggalmbahn station and Lanersbach itself is beautiful, peaceful and authentic. To top it off, Stefan and Michaela are gracious hosts who make you feel like you are visiting with old friends. We look forward to a return visit.
